Competency Model Development |

| | Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospital NHS Trust asked us to develop their leadership competency framework. We worked with them to identify the specific behaviours that currently defined success in addition to identifying the behaviours that leaders would need to possess for the future success of the organisation. We have since integrated the model into the Trust’s 360 feedback process and we developed an assessment centre to help them assess candidates for two senior management positions which were being created as part of a significant re-organisation. | | | We are currently working with Reiss to develop their competency model. We spent lots of time with Store Managers and Head Office managers to identify the specific behaviours that define success within a fast-moving, commercially focused organisation. Reiss already have four broad brand value statement so we also needed to integrate the model with these statements whilst ensuring that the language was straightforward and the model succinct. The intention is to integrate the model into a new appraisal process and tie it into management development activities. |  | | CACHE were seeking to develop their culture by encouraging more of a ‘performance focussed’ culture. They were also facing some significant changes within their market place which meant that leaders need to do things differently. We worked with them to identify the specific behaviours that currently defined success in addition to identifying the behaviours that leaders would need to possess for the future success of the organisation. It was important to preserve CACHE’s core values and ensure that managers continued to ‘nurture achievement’ whilst being more customer and performance focused. We have since helped CACHE integrate the model into their appraisal process and leadership development programmes. |
