"I have attended a number of leadership programmes which have provided theoretical approaches, working models and the opportunity to try them out in scenarios which has been designed specifically for the purpose of the training course. This leadership programme, for the first time, has provided the opportunity for reflection and personal development based on reality i.e. how I actually perform as a leader on a day to day basis. The 360 feedback and self evaluation questionnaires have enabled me to identify how the theory and management models have been transferred into the style and leadership skills that I demonstrate with colleagues. The coaching session, provides an opportunity to take a step back from day to day practice and openly discuss thoughts, concepts and realities, some of which challenge inner feelings in a "safe environment". Having identified areas for further development, working with a personal coach has enabled me to identify not only my strengths but also areas which I can develop further. I have a personal development plan which provides achievable objectives and tangible measures which I can use to measure my progress."
