Leadership and Management Workshops

Consider the best managers in your organisation. What do they do differently to the rest? It is likely to be a combination of lots of things, but one thing for certain is that they are likely to engage with their people in such a way that gets the best out of them.

‘Leadership’ is complicated. Much research has been done over the years and the only real conclusions that can be drawn are that there is no one correct approach to or style of leadership, the type of leadership required varies by situation and (crucially) try to lead like someone else and you will fail.

The reality is that the best managers display leadership (regardless of the level they are in the organisation) and they do this through how they interact with people around them. As such they need an element of knowledge and skill, but of more importance are some fundamental attitudes and behaviours.

Our tailored leadership programmes will help you provide new or less experienced managers with the essential toolkit and skills they need, reinvigorate your experienced managers and refine the capabilities of your top talent.

However, your organisation has its own unique business challenges and culture so each of our programmes is tailored to your specific needs. Rather than assuming we know best and using an off-the-shelf programme, we take the time to fully understand what you are trying to achieve and how the programme will help theorganisation achieve its goals.

We will work with you to to define the content and format of each programme at the outset. We will invest the time to work with you to refine the content once the initial concept has been agreed. We will continually adjust the content of each programme based on feedback and ongoing discussion with you. All this ensures that each of our programmes adds as much value as possible to both attendees and the organisationas a whole.

To maximise the transfer of learning into the workplace each of our programmes combines the following elements:

Feedback - we encourage participants to raise their level of self-awareness using a combination of 360 feedback and psychometric assessment instruments. We have the capability to create tailored online questionnaires and we are accredited to use a number of tools depending on your specific need.

Coaching - we provide one-to-one coaching as an integral part of our programmes to enable people to implement their learning in practice and review progress towards their goals.

Focus on real business challenges - we encourage participants to work on their own real business challenges throughout the programme.

Development action planning - we encourage participants to constantly reflect on their learning and create their own individual personal development plan to implement back at work.

As each of our programmes is tailored to your specific needs, it is difficult to provide a definitive overview of programme content. However, below is one example of a programme we have put together for one of our clients.
